40,000 homes were destroyed due to the flood waters of Hurricane Harvey. It is estimated that less than 20% of these homes were insured. That means there are a lot of families who will not be able to afford to repair and rebuild. That's where organization's like Builders Without Borders of Texas come in. We have been here in the middle of it all, walking beside families as we helped them clean out their homes. And we will be here during the next phase of recovery and rebuild.

Builders Without Borders of Texas has experience and a successful track record of rebuilding homes after major disasters like Harvey. We have built homes for families in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina, in Louisiana after Hurricane Rita, in Texas after Hurricane Ike, and in Greensburg, Kansas after deadly tornadoes. We were a major partner in building 500 Homes for Haiti after the devastating earthquake that destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes in January of 2010.
